Forms

Bill of lading

A bill of lading (BOL) is a legal document issued by a carrier (such as Trans-Ontario Express) to acknowledge the receipt of goods for shipment. It is to be given to the driver upon pickup. It also serves as evidence of ownership and is often required for the release of goods at the destination.

Air waybill

An air waybill is a transportation document used in the air cargo industry. It functions similarly to a bill of lading but is specific to air shipments. There should be an AWB number on this document for the driver to receive the correct shipment.

Commercial invoice

A commercial invoice is a financial document provided by a seller to a buyer in international trade transactions. It outlines the details of the goods sold, including their description, quantity, unit price and total value, and is used for customs clearance, taxation and payment. Provide this for USA shipments.

Credit card authorization

The credit card pre-authorization form is used to process a one-time shipment by obtaining approval from the card issuer to charge the quoted amount to the customer’s card. This can also be done over the phone. Once authorization is obtained and confirmed, we can proceed with the shipping service.
